Multi-talented Artist and Businesswoman, Rae Shine Releases New Music, “I Want You”
Artist, Musician and Businesswoman, Rae Shine, has recently released her latest project, “I Want You.” Available on several streaming platforms, the song perfectly expresses the feeling of longing almost everyone can attest to when they meet someone, they like for the first time or even fall in love. The talented musician taps into her seductive side to create a scenario of a night’s meeting tensed up with strong feelings of need or maybe lust.
Her sultry voice and the beautiful melody of the song is a perfect blend that gives the song a strong edge found in most songs of seduction. “I Want You” is music that everyone can relate with and can vibe to on special nights despite their genre preference. Rae Shine also gives the song a perfect finish with a video where she plays the vixen and seductress beautifully. The video which is available on YouTube is set in a classroom with Rae Shine dressed in lace and a white shirt and her object of seduction few meters away.
Originally from DMV, Germantown, Rae Shine started singing and rapping as a teenager. She grew up around music as most of her friend’s made music and that contributed majorly to her musical influence today. Her other influences include listening to a lot of pop and trap and artists like Doja Cat, Post Malone and Drake. Although she has been into music since her young age, she has been on and off in the music business. However, she started taking it more seriously about 5 years ago.
The multi-talented artist and businesswoman prides herself in her years of hard work and sacrifice. Her hard work has gotten her to share the stage with so many great emcees, legends like DMX & The Lox, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Young Thug, Wu-Tang and Mobb Deep among others. Rae Shine considers these to be among her greatest achievements alongside writing and producing her own music.
Currently an independent artist who recently left the Lucky 7 Music Group, Rae Shine is looking forward to creating more. She also aims to empower women to speak up and own their truth with her music just like how she does in “I Want You.” In her own words, “I want them to be inspired to feel the emotion of whatever the song’s meaning is. If I want them to
feel sexy, they feel sexy, to help them through a breakup, lift them up or feel the spirit.”
In the future, Rae Shine hopes to work with artists like Travis Scott, Kid Cudi, Kanye or
Drake.
